Rainforest walking tracks

Have you got your walking shoes?

Are you fit:
- how about walking up through the rainforest track at Platypus Bend
- listen and look for birds, Lumholtz tree kangaroos, wallabies, pademelon and echidna
- and check out all the fungi, mosses and many different species of flora

Like any area in Australia we do occasionally see a snake
here on Platypus Bend...
- both friendly (non-venomous)
- and not so friendly (venomous)

So our rule here is don't touch any of them!!

Not so fit:
- the meandering walking tracks along the river are just for you
- you will still see pockets of forest with many of the critters just waiting to be spotted
- you will also catch the platypus, fish and turtles feeding
