How to find Platypus Bend from Malanda

Note: Lindsay Road does not join Topaz Road - this is an error on Google Maps

  • Take the Malanda to Millaa Millaa Road (heading to Innisfail)
  • Opposite the Malanda High School & Mobil Service Station turn left into Glen Allyn Road & follow for approximately 4 km turning left into Lindsay Road (unsealed) and follow to end of road (approx. 660 metres)
  • Enter through gate and across a small bridge
