Twitchers and birding photographers delight!

International 'twitchers' and local 'birding' photographers have been visiting Platypus Bend for the last 18 years to spot some of the over 150 birds identified here.

The attached .pdf list of birds identified here has been compiled by Yu Ohta, a bird and wildlife guide and avid photographer and has been confirmed by Mr Alan Gillanders, a very well known and respected wildlife guide and photographer based in Yungaburra on the Atherton Tablelands.
